Comments: Two different sources. First might be super 8 footage with proper audio but looks more like a real video camera and is shot from the floor. The second is footage from the balcony and looks like super 8 (bottom right screenshot). Some closeups are good but the picture is hazy and grainy. Audio is very muffled but at least one can hear what’s going on. Total playing time is roughly 13 min.

Comments: SylvAceProductions. Single cam stage right. Well-shot with some great, steady shots with amazing clarity. Blurry on hard closeups though. Audio has a bit of distorsion throughout and almost sounds a bit overcompressed. It’s far from bad though, it’s just not quite as enjoyable as some of the other recordings from this tour.

One of the most interesting promotional activities in support of “The Elder” ocurred before the release of the album when on Spetember 24, 1981 the band made a promotional visit to Mexico to appear in TV channel 13 the following day. Oddly, dressed in their Elder outfits, the band lip-synched to “Charisma and “I was made for lovin´ you”, rather than perform anything from the forthcoming album.
