Most of these are available in better quality but the Tampa is the best quality I’ve seen so far and Abilene (although it’s only one song) is better than my previous version by far. Nice to see plenty of news footage showing live shots, there’s not nearly enough pro stuff going around from this tour.

Comments: HI-8 master. Single cam on the balcony stage left. Excellent picture quality and fairly well-shot. Audio is excellent but curiosuly muffled for Love gun. Overall a great boot and a decent performance for the Farewell tour. Missing Psycho circus and the encores, total time about 95 min.

Comments: Single cam high on the balcony stage right. Terrible picture and audio. It’s really blurry and the colors are totally screwed up. Also overly compressed onto DVD. Incomplete. This recording is actually a combination of Houston 85-12-07 and Austin 85-12-08. Right before the audience participation part in Uh! all night Paul says Houston (at about 2:25). Then, right before the missing encores, Paul adresses the crowd as Austin. There is also a slight change in camera angle (you can see more of the faces on the stage floor) before and after the cut right before Love gun (at about 43:57).

Comments: Single cam high on the balcony stage right. Well-shot but picture quality is a bit blurry but surprisingly good. (Looks a bit better than the screenshots.) Colors seem a bit off though. Audio is good. Missing the first three songs and the encores. Same tape source as this, but in much, much better quality. A great upgrade really.

Comments: Single cam on the balcony stage right.Infinitely better than my previous copy but still not good. This has much better clarity but the colors are still way off. The audio for the beginning of Detroit rock city is almost non-existant and there’s some serious tape warbling about halfway through that song. Apart from that the audio sounds pretty good but without much, if any, bass.
